Arterial Community is created to support young artists, visionaries and thinkers come into their full expression uninhibited. My aim is to equip the children and young adults that I work with, with a confidence to express that carries through into all other disciplines that they love, and wish to pursue, as well as finding their visual voice. I work in a very multidisciplinary way, weaving together Science and Art, sound, play, somatic and playful body work, guided meditation, therapeutic art rituals and randomness. I also lead seminars on the Theory of Knowledge in the Arts and how we know truth through creativity which sparks lively debate and philosophical inquiry.
It is my intention that all students that I work with leave me with a deepened sense of trust in themselves and are more connected with their bodies and intuitive sensing.

After teaching Art at secondary level in the UK and internationally for 17 years - I observed the frustrations that students met with when outcomes did not fit with their expectations and anticipation - My heart led fascination with Eastern philosophy, in particular Taoist Philosophy of harmonising with nature, and principles of naturalness - along with studies into ancient language symbols - has fuelled the crafting of this unique program to support young creatives in being fluid, adaptive and open. The ART OF CHANGES is a play space where Eastern Philosophy merges with West, where boundaries dissolve and where play and curiosity take the reigns.
